Exegesis

This blog is my Web Presence assignment for my Web Communication Assignment 3, which is a Web Presence. However, blog are too simply with words only, so is a passion put to good use. For me, blog is the easiest and it is most convenient tool to share words, pictures, videos and etc with people around you. Besides, visitor from anywhere can comment, message and even follow the blog due to a simple yet effective tagging system. Blogs are easily accessible by a good amount of people with internet connection and are in the top 10 of the most popular web 2.0 platforms used today. Internet connected you with people those with same interest tags, similar between you and others, and thus you can make new friend by using blog. 

  

In this blog, I would like to choose a picture window layout for this blog due to its simplicity and template fonts, which is easy for me to have a tidy and clear look for my blog. The background image was chosen by Google Image 

My main node as well as my contributing nodes are all web 2.0 platforms that have been discussed during class and should be the most effective in performing this assignment.

I selected my 3 contributing nodes to be Facebook, Tumblr and Twitter. Facebook is my contribute node because through this social network, one of the most used in the world, which is around 1.11 billion users by end of march, 2013. Secondly, I choose Tumblr as my another contribute node. Tumblr is a microblogging platform and also social networking website. I can search other people's blog, or i can set it as private to prevent someone find my website. Much of the website's features are accessed from the "dashboard" interface, where the option to post content and posts of followed blogs appear. Now I can just simply upload my post easily and instantly either laptop or smart phone. 

Lastly, I choose twitter as contributing node because through this 130 words based tool I can simply just post anything happens within few seconds. By simple and short sentences, this could be memories after a long time, it is more reliable and instant.
